I received an email letting me know that my jacket was starting production shortly.
The account is where I have been checking to see where the progress is at. I was at customer confirmed for about 10 weeks then it updated to awaiting production, I'm sure cutting was what followed that, then of...
@Leather_nube
That's been about 8 weeks since I confirmed my order. I'd imagine it'll be another 3-4 weeks before it's ready? Or, possibly longer due to the backlog. Hopefully you won't be waiting too much longer before a status change.
Indian Ranger in Vicenza blackened brown. Has Aero since increased it's prices? Can't remember some of their jackets being as much as £1000 before the sale.
Oops, just saw you guys talking about it.
I have an Amish made leather belt that I bought about 6/7 years ago. I wear it daily to work, my work involves a lot of heavy lifting and the belt has held up perfectly. Only issue is I've lost quite a bit of weight and had to buy a new one. I really love the belt, too, I got the wax brown one...
That's good to hear! I actually should have suspected that they would be more robust on an Aero.
Do you have a preference with regards to Jerky Horsehide and goatskin? The drape on the goatskin does sound good, but I do like the whole process of breaking the jacket in. Is there much of a break...
Thank you for the reply, mate!
I'm happy to go with a jacket with epaulettes, then. I actually worry about them maybe tearing as I had an off the peg leather cowhide jacket years ago and one of the epaulettes got torn on something.
I'm going to go for a black jacket this time around, my...
Planning to place an order for a Motorcycle jacket from Aero. I really like the Indian Ranger. Just curious as to the thoughts on having it made without the epaulettes, would it take the look away from the jacket? I'm on the fence about them. Also, would anyone have any recommendations on what...
Hi all,
Getting the itch to order another Aero jacket and have been jumping between going for a biker jacket or the Hooch Hauler. Lately I have been leaning more heavily towards a biker jacket, specifically the "Type J-106" and "Indian Ranger".
I am curious to know, if requesting having the...
I really like that Kelpie that @Jin431 posted. I've also considered the Cordovan, I'm just not sure if it would suit one of the jackets I am considering. Those being the Hooch Hauler and the Half Belt Deluxe (without the fur collar). I feel the Hooch Hauler looks better in Tobacco or Badalassi...
Thanks @Canuck Panda, I appreciate your response.
The battered seal you have there looks a lot lighter than I was expecting. I know the lighting etc can play a part in that, I thought it would have been darker though.
I have a sample piece of Seal Jerky and that is pretty dark, I'd have...
I have a question about the Battered Seal Horsehide from Aero.
Is it quite similar to the Tumbled Brown? I'm wanting to get another jacket from Aero, eventually and already owning a Highwayman in Tumbled Brown and a Wayfarer in Battered Tan I would really like another colour of jacket that...
Got my battered tan Wayfarer through today. This hide is incredible but, man is it tough. I have a tumbled Brown Highwayman and that is my only reference point for jackets like this and their pliability. Of course the tumbled brown needed breaking in but was a little more forgiving. I love the...
Got my Highwayman back in May, I think it was?
Been wearing it as often as possible to break it in a little more, it's Tumbled Brown FQHH. Have had success with it and it's really taking shape quite nicely. On Saturday here it was pelting down with rain, wore it out as I haven't actually...
Placed my order for a Wayfarer from Aero in battered tan. Had ordered my Highwayman back in December, just there. Never thought I'd be back placing another order so quickly, really excited for this.
@HoosierDaddy
It was from seeing your teamster before, I decided my next jacket would be in battered tan.
Every time I look at those photos I think, that's incredible.
Thanks @Canuck Panda I had never even considered the Natural CXL before. Admittedly, it's not one I had ever looked at much, if at all?
I emailed Aero yesterday, so when they get back to me I think I'll ask for a sample of the two to compare them.
