Winston,
Measurements on my Rocker jacket across the chest, armpit to armpit are approx. 24", across the shoulders in the back, about 20.5" -
Jacket is a 44" -- For referenced, I'm about 5'11", 180lb, pretty fit, with a 44 - 44.5" chest inhaled, and about about a 43 exhaled, fairly wide...
Well, tough to say on the armpit to armpit measurement -- This seems to vary in between various jackets makers and I wouldn't use that as an accurate way to get fitted, as different types of leather fit / measure differently.
Recently, I just purchased two Aero's in FQHH -- I did my own...
From my experience with an Aero FQHH Mariner, I have no problems with the opening / closing buttons.
Being in So Cal, I don't find myself buttoning it too often as it's just not that cold, but you shouldn't have any problems.
Sure it's stiff for the first few wears, but after I'd say...
D. Hunter,
Glad to hear you got your jacket! Hope you enjoy to the fullest!
How about some pics!:)
It be interesting to hear your thoughts on the difference of the two jackets once your Aero arrives.

JJ, thanks for the kind words! It was truely pleasure dealing with you!!!
D. Hunter -- you're really in for a treat on both jackets! Being the your Highwayman is made of Steer, it probably won't be as stiff or hard as the FQHH.
You'll love each one in their own way! Anticipation stincks...
Well, I couldn't help but post...I just scored (by the sheer grace of the Lord!) JohnnyJohnny's jacket from the 'Bay and this thing is so beautiful, I just had to write a follow up review!
First off, got say a big thanks to JohnnyJohnny!!! It was very cool dealing with him -- a really nice...
Well, my experience with the Aero brown FQHH, is from a Mariner coat.
While having a general uniform color, there is a multitude of various shades of brown playing together to create a very distinct and imho superb look.
I would dare to say though, that at times, it appears a bit more...
Gents,
Thanks for the responses...It seemed that no one was responding to this thread for a while, and then boom -- 9 responses!!
Thanks for the feedback!!! Should anyone happen to find pics and have the time, please post.
Best to all,
B
Dear all,
Was wondering if anyone on this board might have an Eastman Hartman jacket -- if so, would you mind posting your honest opinion about it, etc.
If you happen to have pics you wearing the jacket, that would be a much welcomed bonus.
Now that Eastman is selling direct to the US...
Oh man, you will love this thing!
I recently ordered & received one, pretty much similar to the one you describe (mine is in brown heavy FQHH lined in Alpaca). It's actually the one Mark has up in his photo galleries.
I too was a bit hesitant when ordering, but man, when I first opened...
I have to 2nd John's comment on the Buzz Rickson version as I personally own that one...
It is an utterly stunning jacket in the flesh -- the one thing that jumps out at you is how wearable (as John mentioned) it is -- the leather is not at all stiff (e.g. Aero, although I do love their style...
Thanks for getting these up -- hope they were a help --
What was most surprising was the fit -- I mean they just got it right on the money and to be honest, I was concerned about this -- Just for ref, I'm 5'11'' about 185 lbs. Jacket is a 44 regular.
Mark at Aero US was also really good...
Hey Mr 20,
Actually, the Rocker you posted the 1st link to is my jacket -- just got it in hand today -- in all honesty (and I'm as picky as they come), SUPERB is the word I'd use to describe it.
Looks AWSOME on, even in it's unbroken state -- leather is gorgeous -- and the fit is spot on...
