No tailor me, and I'm no expert, but my tape measure gives these approximate measurements:
pit to pit 22" to 22.5",
shoulder seam to bottom of sleeve cuff 27",
back top of collar to back bottom of hem 25.5" to 26"
I bought this years ago, but unfortunately was always snug for me so barely ever wore it. Rather than keep it hanging in the closet, it's time for the next owner to enjoy.
This is an incredibly rich, deep brown leather jacket with the high quality heavy leather BR always used in the day...
I actually remember in one of the old Archie funny books there was a one-page strip on how to make a hat like Forsythe P. Jones'. It exactly involving taking a Fedora and a pair of scissors...

"Big Lunk" aka "Deadhead" aka "Bonehead"
in one Frankie Avalon/Annette Funicello surf/beach movie after another, the big goofy lug character seemingly went by a different nickname in each movie. His biggest moment was when he fell in love with the mermaid...
This hat was bought off ebay, right? If so, then despite what the seller claims, if the seller is not ll bean, the hat is not new, and in fact was sold at a decent discount from new. Maybe it was a second that was not 'destroyed?' Although an anecdotal detail, not the same as one bought new...
Mike the hatter is good to go to, with a broad selection and a helpful crew (you might be the only one in the store).

When it comes to rainproofness, I reach for one of those outback-style waxed cotton hats. They truly are rainproof, or if they're not, a quick wax job will restore their power.
As an alternative, the traditonal British Submariners jacket, or something quite similar, is still available brand new:
