(1) You could wear a VERY large beret with the headband well below your chin, concealing the virtual reality glasses you use to view your surroundings. This arrangement would also be good for robbing banks, or other activities where you might like to hide your face. :)
Oh right... I see you...
Merci pour les paroles Philipe.
That's the most French I've read in a while. I attended grades three, four and five, in a French school.
Gascon then, means from Gascogne.
Michael
Philipe, I like that beret too.
Also curious about the significance of 'I am Gascon and I wear a beret'
I figured if I kept an eye o_O on this thread that I'd find out.
Oooh those M.B. berets look so very nice.:)
Michael
Hector, truly no one is going to tell you you're wearing a silly hat, when you are carrying a machine gun. :)
I dare say you could pull off wearing a traditional beret of your own choosing, outside the theatre of war. ;)
It's as easy as finding one you like, plopping it on your head and...
Wow Alan, that's really something!:)
I like it.

Michael
Me too Alan :)
I've been interested in getting one since watching the movie 'The Devil and the Blacksmith'
Michael
P.S. your choice of words "might be a must have" made me chuckle. It's certainly a want in my case. ;)

Here I am, out walking the dog yesterday. It's getting much warmer now, and soon the first spring flowers, the crocuses, will be poking out of the half frozen ground.
Michael
Edited to say that I had a better...
Ahoy fellow boynaeroz!
I ran across this thread a month or so ago reading what I could find about berets on the web. I just finished reading the entire thread, from the start.
I'm a long time beret wearer, it's been my favourite hat for for nearly forty years.
In the above picture (1985?) I'm...
