im a bit curious about this hat that i found today and the value it could have, i dont much about it, i fact i know nothing at all..but its a pretty cool piece!
anyone would have an idea?
alright, as stupid as it may sound id rather be safe then sorry,
I use lacquer thinner and laquer to stiffen my hats, is it safe to keep whats left of the mixed ratio in a mason jar once im done or no?
I have a couple options already, but not ideal..
Im not a pro at this what so ever and certainly dont know all the tricks but im looking for a felt hood that would go over a 14" hat block. I presume I cant use the regular ones as they will way to big to shrink that much? or if they do shrink...
ah that makes more sense!! walmart is the last place Id by my felt! never trust walmart ahah
at this POint I whould try to wet felt my hood since ive been a wet felter for years.
Im just concerned it will not be as solid as industrially felted piece.
Goind to give that felt fabric a try
well a BIG THANKS to everyone for all those replies!!!
I definitely learnt a lot and got the answer I needed!
this woman is going to buy more supplies and start making something unique...

I must say that being welcome with is this a joke totally confirmed my ignorance ( which I assume btw)
