    Don't have a good scale for accuracy, but it weighs between a 2.5lb and a 5lb hand weight. For a size 48 jacket, it is easily my lightest leather. It seems a bit lighter than my 2oz horsehide A2.

    Amazing! Vicenza seems to have a pronounced grain. It almost looks like goatskin. Will definite have to get a Vicenza leather jacket for my next coat.

    If anyone can restore your jacket, it would be Dena Hamilton at Greatleather. She would stitch in a matched replacement panel. It won't be inexpensive, but it will look great.
