I still don't have that answer my tailor is kinda flaky I took a suit to be tailored by him and he said I'd be done in two weeks and it's been about two months

Currently the suit isn't done yet I've spoken to the tailor and he wants to make a double breasted suit so I think it'll turn out well I'm not sure as to what patterns are available yet

I have a question for fellow loungers . What would be the width of a 40s square end knit tie ? I know knit ties are usually narrow or skinny but 40s ties never are would it be 4 inches like a standard tie or narrower?

I am not an expert on English style but for a typical American suit from 1950-1955 would include most of the following :
Trousers
Double pleated
High or semi high waisted
Typical cuffed
Two back pockets
Thin belt loops
Or suspender buttons if you'd prefer
Or even both
For the coat
