I find it difficult to keep my fedoras on when there's a breeze, even a mild breeze.
I don't wear them too tight because I don't want to leave a line around my forehead when I go indoors and take them off.

I decided to steam it, and its worked, brim at the front stays down now.
Brim up just doesn't seem to suit me....suits you though.

I just took delivery of a susquehana columbo fedora/trilby with a 50mm brim. The brim is real soft and doesn't snap down and stay down like others I have, its rather soft wool felt (has a great feel to it), I just wondered if anyone knows how to stiffen the brim so that it stays snapped...
