For sale is my size 7 Adventure Supply Indiana Jones Fedora made in 2008 by the recently deceased Lee Keppler. The base Lee used to make these Indy replicas is from Beaver Brand Hats. Though beautifully made, the crown size was always to big for me, and thus I have seldom worn it.

I got a great deal on a light brown Adam Pacesetter a few months ago and found that the style fits me well.
What I'm looking for:
Adam Pacesetter (or similar)
Light Gray
Size 7
Bound edge
Brim about 2-3/8
Crown height 4.5" max
I'm looking at this eBay listing and am wondering if this hat can be re-bashed to make the sides slope in a bit. It appears to have fairly vertical sides which don't look too good on me. It also appears that this could have been blocked on a form. If that is the case, does that make it harder...
Thanks for all the advice! If I still had all my hair I could probably wear a 7-1/8 but seeing as it's not making a comeback in this life, I guess I'll have to stick with the 7. I do have a few 7s though that are a bit short front to back and I may give the hat jack a try.

Christmas Watch Cap
Just got this "custom made" watch cap for Christmas. Though I sprang for a vintage peacoat last year, I couldn't bring myself to shell out what WWII watch caps were going for, so my wife knitted me one to the specs I found on the web. I suppose that when you add up cost of...
Hat Resizing Question
From the few hats I've purchased, a size 7 seems to be right for me. However, I recently purchased one that was a 6 7/8 LO and though it's a bit tight front to back, it's definitely wearable. I've found several hats I'd be interested but the number could be expanded if I...
Thanks, DJH. That helps a lot.
I really like the bound edge of the original Whippet but I've come to believe that wide brims don't look good on me. This Marathon, as does my bound-brim Adam, have 2.5" brims and shorter crowns, which suit me better. Still, that agree that price is a bit to...
I'm looking for a light grey Adam Pacesetter but just saw this Marathon on eBay. Compared to what I paid for my brown Pacesetter, this seems overpriced. Is this asking price the norm for a Marathon?

Having long ago outgrown it, this 1973 Kersey wool peacoat has hung in my closet for nearly 40 years and is in great condition. It's hard to believe I once could fit into this 34R. It would make a great coat for someone young and slim!
