All the old original 1800 hat making equipment is there. My friend Cameron used it to make my fedora. Cameron has a strong passion for this and is doing everything he can to get more ppl to wear hats. He was really excited to see that I posted something on this forum. If you get a chance to stop...
Nope definatly not the case. My buddy buddy just took ownership of it this wk. he is actually calling all old outstanding orders trying to procure all that the previous owner neglected. Coincidently my buddy's brother in laws family are the founders way back in 1909.
Sorry for the misspelled words, cell phone posting is not advised! Lol anyways I just wanted to show you guys the professionals to now ur true thoughts on of it looks good, bad, great, etc...
Ahh gotcha... Makes sense. Before ingot on this forum and started reading all the "standard specs" I told him I didn't want a super high crown. So he measured from my chin to middle of eye to get height before he put the top rear drop in it (which took out just a little).
My first fedora I've ever owned. Its custom made by my child hood buddy
Who owns the oldest hat company I'm Texas ( standard hat works).
100x beaver, 5 1/4" year drop with 2 1/8" brim
Today's the finishing day and I get to pic my first fedora up. I'm excited to say the least, going to out dinner with wife and friends and will be sporting it the entire time! Lol
Here are a few pics of me and my buddy with him making my hat. I was messing around with some of his stock shelf hats and took a pic of me with one of them.
