The leather and the cut on these Restoration hardware cafe jackets are simply amazing. And they hardly ever come up for sale. Can't believe you're letting this one go. GLWS!
Can't believe you're selling this off. The Thedi Memphis is one of my all time favorite jackets in my collection...if I didn't own one already, I would have jumped!! What a bargain!!
Just found this East West leather jacket at an estate sale this morning. Immaculate shape- size 42. Even has the zippered stash pocket in the back of the collar. Not really my style, but still super cool.
Thanks for the follow up. That's good info to know about the Iron and Resin suede jackets. They look very tempting. But that makes sense-their "Douglas" jacket looks like it tapers wide at the bottom. Kind of the opposite of the typical V shape Type 3 jackets. Probably wouldn't work well on me...
I picked up a Master & Supply suede jacket awhile ago. Love it. Soft and supple and easy to wear. Beautiful shade of suede. And I've been looking at Iron and Resin too...kind of gone down the suede jacket rabbit hole. Did you end up getting an Iron and Resin Buffalo jacket?
Has anyone had any dealings with this guy?

Looks like he's new and has 0 interactions here. Twice I've gotten the exact same message from him regarding my WTB post-
"hello are you still interested in getting this?.
you can contact Scott he has a Aero Suede Type 3 size for...
If anyone has an Aero Type 3 "Jean" Suede jacket collecting dust in their closet, I’m looking for one. Preferably in a light brown/sand suede. Size 40/42ish. I know it’s a long shot, but just thought I’d put it out there. If you got something, feel free to DM me. Cheers!
Yeah, I think they were kind of a limited run from the beginning. And they weren't produced for very long- I don't think they caught on. Not a lot of people know about them compared to other Schott jackets and cafe racers. Definitely worth pursuing.
These RH Cafe racers are amazing jackets. Put mine up for sale a while back, no one bought it, and now I'm glad it didn't sell. A soft supple leather hide, and a very versatile cut. The brown definitely develops a beautiful patina as it wears. Good luck with the search :)
