To me it looks great. Wouldn't be worth changing it.
In a couple of years when you've got used to the jacket - & it's got used to you - you'll wonder what all the fuss was about!:o
As I live in the UK, I've been lucky in the fact that when I've received the "Your order has been despatched " e-mail - it has always arrived before 11-00 the next day.
Doesn't make it any easier though about when you open the box & hope it's what you wanted?:o
I'm a 40" chest & 38" fits perfectly - I'll be able to wear it with just a t-shirt & also a fleece.
Will get back to you about actual measurements ProtienN. If I forget, please pm me.
What can I say.....
After all the sleepless nights, wondering if I'd got the measurements right. The lining right...even if I'd ordered the right style of jacket!
There was no turning back as a big box from Scotland arrived the other day.:D
So, inside was:
Teamster Size 38"
Vintage...
That should be an absolutely awesome jacket! Please post when you receive it!
Aero Heavy Steerhide is not for the faint hearted but is well worth the effort to break in - In my experience about 5 years:)
As for warranty, I believe that they offer a lifetime guarantee on their jackets (apart...
I use the "Wear it, Sit on it, Sleep in it, Roll it up & use it as a pillow, Kick it about/massage it with my feet whilst I'm watching TV" sort of approach.
From my experience I've found that the creases usually find themselves.:)
I'm sorry, I've not read through the whole thread.
All I can say is -Why don't you just WEAR them!!??
Abuse them!!!
Stop leaving them in your wardrobe & talking about them on a forum!
Wear the bloody things!!!:)
I traded this in against a Teamster in Tumbled Brown.

Aero are awaiting delivery of a new batch of the tumbled Brown hide in the next couple of weeks & then this will go into production. :D
Well, I was going to comment about living with just one leather jacket, but the million dollar watch collection sort of took the wind out of my sails. I am not worthy to be on this forum. :-(
I didn't actually specify the sleeve lining as I'm assuming it will be the standard cotton drill? If it's moleskin throughout then it is going to be a mighty warm jacket.
Will definitely post pics when it arrives.
Thanks to everyone for all your constructive & informative posts.
Well it's going to be moleskin. The reason i'm saying this, is because when I called Aero earlier today to discuss the possibility of changing linings, I was informed that my jacket is in production & is just awaiting the buttons to be fitted.
That means I could possibly take delivery of it...
Sloan - Easy for you to say that it's too warm as being a hardy Glaswegian anything over 2 deg C is classed as a balmy spring day. ;)
Fanch - Thanks for the reply assuring me about it's lack of stiffness. As a matter of interest was there any particular reason that you choose a moleskin...
Hello everyone.
Back in November I ordered a HWN but after much deliberation & sleepless nights I've changed my mind at the last minute (Friday) & ordered a Tumbled Brown FQHH Aero Teamster(which seems to be the jacket of choice at the moment, probably due to some excellent posts by wdw / Fanch...
