Seabass, I have a serious case of cap envy! How does the cap hold it's shape around the edge? It almost looks like there is some kind of liner that helps it hold that rounded edge.
Pure dumb luck, just watched the Roy Rogers video and gave it a try. My first re-bash.
The felt was really easy to work with when wet and stiffened up nicely when dry.
Here is my 40+ year old Texas Hatters western that I recently re-crowned with a double teardrop a la Roy Rogers.
I had always felt the original crown was a bit too high, now I wonder if it is too short. What are your thoughts?
Seabass, that's the perfect picture to show you are never too old or too young to enjoy a good leather jacket.
Your pal with you in the photos looks like he is ready for any adventure and reminds me that when my boys were that age they wanted to do whatever I was doing. I now have two adult...

EE (Ph.D).
We did go to Beechers in Pike Place Market area and tried several of their cheeses. Our son and his wife liked their cheese and served it often. My wife and I actually started enjoying cougar gold when an aunt of mine sent us some many years ago and it was not like anything we had...
St. Arnold is in Houston and is distributed regionally. The Lawn Mower is a German style Kolsch. I also like their amber ale.
My son us a U. of Washington graduate and he used to send us the cheese. We can mail order it during the cooler months.
It's usually to hot here to wear a leather jacket, so rather than abstain, I drink my Jim Beam Devil's Cut and dream of all the fine leather jackets I wish I owned.
