I really do like how the game uses vintage items and such (believe its based on around the 40s-50s), in a far into the future time wise game. The music is nice too (Louis Armstrong, The Ink Spots, etc).
I liked the old ones better than 3, but they're all pretty good.
In fact, I'm pretty sure...
I think it looks excellent. Would like to learn more about 'Matt Deckard Apparel' though, are you going to open up a new thread with all the info at some point Matt?
This is almost exactly what I wanted to say, though I wouldn't have relayed it nearly as well as you did.
I was born in '85, was never spanked (though was disciplined in other ways, which is the key, getting discipline), and am doing just fine holding down a full time job and have no attitude...
Whistling definitely isn't something you're born with. I couldn't whistle for a long time, until one day I decided I wanted to figure it out. Was horrible at first, but now I'm pretty good. Still can't figure out how to do that loud whistle using fingers in your mouth though.
Same thing with...
I like Macs a lot better, unfortunately, I'm much better at working with Windows so that's what I use.
Lately my mom's Mac has been running awfully slow and I wouldn't even know where to start to fix the problem on my own. [huh]
Packers played their most complete game of the season today, hopefully they can keep it up. The close wins are stressful and exciting, but the blowouts sure are fun.
8-1!
(and hopefully Adrian Peterson will be alright, he's an exciting player to watch)
Yea, but he wouldn't be running *away* from you :p
Anyway, the movie was pretty good, but I found myself paying more attention to the suits and hats than the movie sometimes.
The car industry is continuously being smacked with more and more regulations for emissions. It's even getting to the point where they're trying to design cars that do the driving for you, so that you can't put the throttle to the floor, etc.
Every single year vehicle emission standards go up...
I think our points were a little different.
no one's entitled to anything, I never disputed that.
All I disputed was that we shouldn't be telling people what they can't do nearly as often as we currently do. (and I use "we" meaning in general, what our bosses, coworkers, media, family...
You seem to be confusing what I'm saying with the thoughts of entitlement that some people have.
You go to college for 6 years, you aren't entitled to anything.
You work your butt off to start a business, you aren't entitled to have a successful business.
I don't believe in being entitled...
"There are things in this life you might want with all your heart that you *simply aren't ever going to be able to have.* That's just the way life is, and the sooner you can accept that, the better."
Is something I can't get behind and endorse.
You want to be an astronaut? Good! go make it...
June 5th, 1985
Let's see here...
1968 - U.S. presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy is shot at the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles, California by Palestinian Sirhan Sirhan. Kennedy dies the next day.
1989 - The Unknown Rebel halts the progress of a column of advancing tanks for over...
I enjoyed the movie, but thought it went a bit overboard on the product placement.
Chevy and GMC were basically the 'good guy' cars, and everytime a car was crushed or destroyed really slowly or clearly it was a BMW.
Add in the mountain dew, and xbox, among many many other things I noticed...
I can't wait till I'm 60+ so that I can get away with flirting with women while their boyfriend/husband is standing right next to them.
It's the only way I can explain my boss getting away with it at least.
Oh boy, a good question.
I don't think I've ever seen any of my family members wearing hats (besides ballcaps), and movies/movie stars had no bearing on my initial interest. I was just looking to change my wardrobe from 'all casual, all the time' to something a little higher class. Pulled my...
