Which Christy - Adventurer, Knightsbridge, or Fedora?
I tried all three. Ended up ebaying the Fedora and Knightsbridge. Both were too tapered and too low a crown for me. The Adventurer is excellent, but as a tip, I recommend trimming the brim if you like a slightly smarter (IMHO) look, similar (if you'll forgive the pop art reference!) to the... -

And not just the gown. Full academic dress: black suit, white shirt, white bow tie, gown, hoods where appropriate. Although I remember wearing my cap only once! Carried it the rest of the time. The white fur is used to trim Oxford undergraduate hoods, with the higher degrees in silk...- tom78

Ribbon swapping
Just swapped some ribbons. The brown fedora originally carried the brown band, now swapped with the navy fedora and the panama. The panama now has the navy band from the navy fedora, and so it continues... Comments? PS the hats are, clockwise from back left: M&S panama, Brown...
