Finally, a thread up my alley. I found this helmet in a antique shop for $10. It has a nice well aged patina to it. However, I would really like a british calvary helmet as well as a couple of other styles. Here are a couple of pics that had the best safari feel.

I don't get a lot of "cowboy" comments since there are a lot of cowboy hat wearers here in the agricultural area of florida, but I get an "indy" comment here and there.
One thing I dont' understand is I get "indy" comments only when I'm wearing a non-indy hat (black fedoras, panama, etc.) but...
