I couldn't agree with you more on the Montechisti Ultrafino traditional Panama hats! I just received one today from them off of ebay for about $40.00 and it looks like an original. Brims - How do you like them
Hat Brim Sounds like we're all on the same page here. One observation I have also made is that if a fedora is left on a flat surface with the brim down, the weight of the hat on the front brim will give it an unsightly 'S' curve. I have seen this happen to hats and it looks terrible.- Nic Charles

Hats Great comments and leads on hats here. I have to agree that quality makes all the difference in the world, and there are some good quality new-made hats now. I picked up an original black fedora from the 30s, but gave it to a friend a few years ago. I preferred wearing my gray Stetson fedora, which has a slight blue cast, with my blue pin-stripe suits.
