I actually wore a trench coat a few times in high school. Every time it was in a heavy downpour, so there were no odd looks. I usually stuck to a peacoat, or my dad's old leather jacket. But everyone there knew me for my "different" tastes in clothing.
I would ask my dad, but he just got me new tires. I don't think anyone else I know would want to spend that much on a hat. Maybe I'll get lucky and get it of the bay.

Wow, I've learned so much about Aero through this thread, and it is an outstanding company! I must say, it only reinforces my desire to obtain one of the jackets. I will soon be able afford one of the apprentice jackets, and will look forward to eventually buying it!!
I've learned a few new things from this thread. I don't mind wearing a vintage hat in the rain, if it's on my head when the rain starts. Like m0nk, I'll grab my Akubra if I know it will rain later on. They're great hats.
