A friend of mine recently bought his first fur fedora. It's a stingy Cavanagh, but looks good on him. The two of us walked out to track in our hats, what a great sight it must have been. -

When I read about a homburg that had its pencil roll "ironed", was an iron literally taken to the brim? Would such heat not hurt the felt? Also, while the pencil roll on my homburg is intact, on the sides, the front has been brought down, like a fedora. Could I steam it back to its former... -

Tornadoes!!!
For those of you who live in Oklahoma, or anywhere getting hit, be careful!! Stay safe and bring out your rain hat! We had a smaller tornado touch down in the city on friday. Listen for those sirens, and pay attention to whatever news you listen to! Best of luck!- DavidJ

You got it! I saw one in a western store I happened to stop in. It sure was a rugged hat, far more than any I have. I believe the one I tried on had a cloth sweatband... though I'm not positive, I tried on many hats. I believe I also saw Akubra selling one through the David Morgan site? Anyway... -
