I would love to go outside of London (where we are staying) but with only a week to visit things...I will have to see if I can swing a new hat or clothes....Oh, and Pubs are going to be high on the list.
Just adopted this little guy yesterday. Need to sort some antenna issues out and maybe a cap or two but she functioned well at the store. I need to fire out why stupid phone does the picture thing wrong.
Lizzie, do you know anything about the late 30's Frigidaire's? We may go look at one this weekend. Says it works and outside of missing a shelf and drip tray it looks good.

the wife and I are considering a second fridge for the holidays due to guest coming over. What parts are out there for 30-50's Fridges like shelves, gaskets etc.? I know the original 'freon' is poisonous if it leaks-one reason it will stay in the garage.

The wife scored big time at the antique store yesterday. Anyone know anything about the era rings-as in date range,maker etc.? The purse is obviously from the 20’s and is missing some tassels but is really in great shape.
Looking at purchasing the pair. So far what we have found is that they appear to be more for the S. African market. At least that is what we can see from pictures on the web. They will go well with our 1930’s couch we just got.

I searched but did not come up with anything about the quality this company offers. Has anyone delt with them and their quality? I know there is a thriving 30/40's market in Japan and some of their stuff looks pretty good just was looking for input.

The Boss wanted a place to put hats, keys and umbrellas so we found a hall tree. I am guessing Art Nouveau due to the hooks. It was taken apart at some point and put back together poorly. So at some point after I retire I have another project.
