Wholeheartedly agree, it's just like Langlitz guaranteed fit! This makes a lot of sense when you consider how much we're investing in these jackets. Props to Insurrection!
Seb,
The leather (the new steerhide) is very, very thick, much like Vanson's competition weight cowhide (but softer and more pliable). The liner is definitely nice, but not as thick as Aero's drill liners or their tartans. However, the liner does look incredibly nice and I feel that it's...
I don't think you'll be in any danger of looking like MJ, whether you go with handwarmer pockets or leave the jacket as-is! I remember seeing one when they were making them in horsehide, and I think the steerhide version is so much nicer!
I put my jackets on 1/3 cash, 1/3 a credit card, and 1/3 my personal debit card. Insurrection has no problem with me doing this and they know I'm doing it to hide my purchases from my wife. Haven't been caught yet!
You'll definitely have enough room, as long as the jacket is sized properly. Not too big and not too small.
This is such an awesome photo! It reminds me of what those in the 1940s and 1950s were lucky enough to choose from for their outerwear!
I own a number of Aero jackets, but the ones I purchased from Insurrection are by far my favorites! Their selection and service is top-notch, and I highly recommend giving Wade, Carrie or Sally a call about this fresh stock... I'll have to make a visit soon to see it for myself!
It's great that we'll still have an outfitter of Aero outerwear here in the US, and, if anyone is to be doing it, Insurrection is the shop for it. Insurrection has consistently provided me with the very best in fit and quality...I'm proud to be an Insurrection customer and excited that...
This is going to be my next cafe' racer! So slim, great back, incredible people...I can't say enough about Insurrection or their products! I just hope my 43" chest will fit into one of these.
Much, much better looking back. Those cape like full action backs don't look all that great. Congratulations! I do agree with you about the bottom hem. No one will notice that. It's just where the old topstitching was, I believe.
