I'll make it easy on myself and say that the Optimos and Fawcetts I've seen posted all wind my clock. What a great bunch of customs I've seen all year long.
He does but there are still plenty of us that really hate to see people wearing hats when they eat. I'm one of them. I may be an old lizard but I don't date back to 1895.
The OR is a western hat. It isn't a cowboy hat although real cowboys might indeed wear one. It is a western dress hat. My wife calls mine the "Sheriff Joe" hat saying that I look like a rural law enforcement officer. Definitely a western hat even if Sheriff Joe might wear one in any state.
I would think it should go for about $20. I bought a chocolate brown Resistol 3X for $20 not too long ago. It was in pristine shape. It didn't even need a cleaning.
I'm thinking you must have had an issue with the measurement. My head measures 22 5/8". I always buy 7 1/8. Some hats are slightly tight and some are slightly loose. In general Stetsons fit me pretty well. I swim in a 7 1/4. It's good you found your size in the store. Good luck.

And here it...
Columnists aren't in the business of making meaningful contributions to society. They are in the business of selling newpapers. One of the many reasons I no longer read newspapers.
No worse than other hats I've seen lately. A rock musician named Kid Rock wore a stingy brim fedora backwards and then pushed back on his head during a performance on NFL Kickoff Sunday. He even had it snapped down (in back.) He looked ridiculous. I think some people push the envelope just...
