    Ah, after some inactivity I decided to pop in and show what I've found. Usually I wouldn't care about waistcoats without a backside but I had to make an exemption when I found this. It's not that common any more that you see a double breasted white tie waistcoat.

    Thanks! I am happy over having them because of my head size of 58cm (7 1/8 UK, 7 1/4 US) it can be hard to find silk top hats in my size. The tallest of them I have found from a second hand shop and the two others are from private persons.

    Not a topper but still related! A leather top hat bucket. The other side strap is loose but can still be easily sewn back. The key is intact and the lock works. The inside with velvet lining and a laminate bottom. And the price for this one which still haves the key...

    Thanks! It's easy to get positive comments from elderly people if you are both young and dressing well. I chose a bowler since it's acceptable with notch lapels, even though a top hat would go well. There's always next time! Today's morning coats seem to pretty uniform with peaked lapels...

    It's true, you don't find anything like that today, not with that amount of details. Actually the jackets in the picture are not vintage at all, they both have been recently tailored in Stockholm and you can make a order of one through a vintage store. Price for one would be 600usd.
