Hello fellow A1'ers
Its been a while since I visited the forum - I hope that the issues with the Aero/Aero USA matters have concluded satisfactorily.
Well summer in jolly old England has now passed and the A1 made its first outing couple of weeks ago when I drove to Wales for the day - in my...
Its our dear Queens diamond jubilee weekend and oddly the weather in the past 24 hrs had turned rather gloomy. It means today for half a day I get to wear my A1 (yippeee!!!)
Only half a day sadly as I fly off to Milan, Italy for a few days so have great weekend all and if you get to wear - enjoy...
Nice jacket Butte - I purchased somthing similar (over 15 year ago) sadly its too big for me and was purchase I made when I knew VERY little about such jackets. Now it is just hanging and looking tired and sad, hope you enjoy your latest purchase.
But like I said one of the considerations was the company (Aero) being an UK company - and the OTHER was the 'design' which at Sero was CLOSER to the design I wanted - which was to be the same as Alain De Cadanets A1.
I felt Aero ticked BOTH these boxes.
The design of ELC and GW did not...
Just spent a few days (in short spurts) reading all 56 pages and am so sorry to hear about the sad state of affairs for those who placed orders via Aero USA.
I am new here - in the jackets section at least and am an owner of a new A1.
I personally did not even know about Aero USA.
When I was...
Well the weather was gray, rainy, blustery and horrible and i wore my A1 with great delight! driving all the way from London to Birmingham to Newport and back to London!
(Btw yesterdays auction top seller was a DB4 that went for £1.2m....!!!)
Stupendous!!!:D
The weekend is near and all of a sudden I am secretly hoping the weather is NOT going to be too nice so i can wear my A1!
Have a day at Bonham Aston Martin Auction planned with a fair bit of driving from London to Birmingham to Pagnell.
I imagine sadly the weather will be too warm for my...
Gents, I feel as if I may have created some negative energy, completely unintentionally. I may have made some 'over-excited' comments about my Aero A1 and it was simply because having done my OWN little research and having looked at GW, ELC etc - I ordered with Aero.
I felt the Aero jacket was...
Not impressed with their version of the A1 either and the price is way too high!
I'd rather go with an Aero A1 - which is lovely in the way it is put together and also nicely designed etc.
That is a lovely. I wish you well in that.
I am a classic car buff and hope to be able to have a few in the next years to come. Hoping a few soft top cars will give me the chance to show of the A1.
Drove to Wales and back - lovely sunny day for a change - had my Persol Aviator glasses on, the Landrover Freelander freshly cleaned, the light brown chinos and blue shirt with my NEW flat cap from Bates (worn back to front) - but sadly TOO WARM a day and could NOT wear my Aero A1...!:(
On way...
Just been having a WIDER read of the forum and the Outwear section in particular.
What I noticed is that there are/were a hell of a lot of threads/discussion on Aero.
Whilst I have noticed much of the views here in my short time have been less favourable of my Aero/A1 with preferences by...
That is a tricky one but at least you have an A1 and A2 each. I have a few other jackets from 'retro' shops a lovely tan one which I really like and a similar black one both sort 70s/Fonz style (not sure what they called). The others are not so great plus a biker jacket I purchased BEFORE the...
