Same here. I spent my life wearing a uniform, and I just kind of expect a shirt to have epaulets. But I've honestly never used them in my civilian life. But old habits die hard.
Whatever you are comfortable with and can control. One hit with a 9mm is more effective than 5 misses with a .45. I used to impress on students, "you can't miss fast enough to win."
I think it's absolutely great. Nordstrom had found another way separate stupid people from their money and leave them smiling. Kind of like the $85 leather covered rocks they sold last year. I'm sure there are a bunch of Norstrom execs getting a great laugh out of this. I can't wait to see...
Very sorry to hear about your wife. Hope things are better here. There are some fine gun stores in the metro area. I have a hunch you may already have found some of them. And here in Oregon we can own all those "evil" guns that are banned in CA. The problem is there is a serious shortage of...
Sarge, I don't spend much time here, and I'm mostly just a reader . . . don't post a lot. But I just noticed your location. I seem to remember you being somewhere in California. It's pretty obvious you're now in Oregon, in the valley. I spent 60+ years in the Salem area, and I'm now...
Well Sarge, I'm in a curmudgeonly mood tonight, so blunt and abrasive prevails. The problem I have with Peterman is they are long on hype and through the roof on price. Every time I read one of their descriptions I think I'm listening to a polyester clad used car salesman with greased back...
If you want to see some great examples of vintage trailers, check out Sisters On The Fly website.

I have two "vintage" Holiday Rambler trailers, both late 70s. For comfort reasons, 60s - 70s is about as vintage as I care to...
I understand that perfectly. I'm kind of in the same boat. While I live in the dreary Willamette Valley of western Oregon, I have my five acres of heaven in the high country of eastern Oregon, although mine lacks the log cabin. I'm envious.

I had one of those in blue years ago, and carried it regularly. Why I sold it, when, and to whom is lost in the mists of time, and I'm still kicking myself in the . . . .
Actually, I don't even remember selling it, but I haven't seen it for at least 20 years so I must have. Old age has...
I've already planned for that possibility, but the refund has just appeared on my VISA account. And still no communication from Major. In any case, I'm finished with them until at least October 21, when the world ends.
