I've had my eye on some Moscot's for a bit now.
The "Vilda" and "Lemtosh" models look pretty cool. They come in some nice color combinations and you can get the vintage green sunglasses lenses in them too.
Yeah, it was just weird to see the other items were fairly cheaply made while the newsboy jacket seemed a big step above the others. I guess I was expecting more consistency in the line.
I just found this at the thrift store and am wondering about its age/purpose.
I'm thinking early 1950s? Some sort of service station coat or maybe even an old police jacket?
I went to Penny's tonight to check out this jacket. It definitely lived up to my expectations and i bought one. It was on sale for $100 as opposed to the original $200 price. I also checked out the other jackets in the American Living series like the Officers jacket but it seemed really cheap...
I think I've posted this link on here somewhere before but this blog has really good reference photos and is updated quite often.

I've been thinking about this too lately. I think a lot of it really has to do with the hairstyle worn with it. Also try some pants that aren't jeans.
I've found a lot more useful pics here. Just go back a few pages.
Also, hello everyone. I'm new here. After months of lurking I'm...
