    Your favorite movie quotes

Indeed it is. I liked almost everything of Parker's that I read, but am thankful that the wwesterns didn't have the "everybody's got to see a shrink weekly to survive" theme that some of his other series had. It's unfortunate that he carried his ambivalent female character theme into the...

    Your favorite movie quotes

That's a good movie, and a great series of books. (The author is Robert B. Parker, who also wrote the Jesse Stone series).

    What Are You Reading

Moby Dick is a classic for a reason. It's not a casual read, but it's worth it, as your well-written review reveals. Thanks for sharing this!

    Dating stetson hat

Welcome to the Lounge! You've probably gotten no responses because this is a little-visited corner. That's an interesting hat! I think you'll have much better luck if you repost this in the "Ask a question" thread up in the "Hats" section. There's a lot more activity there and I'm sure someone...

    I need some HAT help!!!!

Welcome to the Lounge! No need to apologize, and I hope you don't feel you're being brushed off here. It's just that a wool hat sold in a "tourist" area like Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge is most likely pretty generic and could have come from any number of sources. It's just impossible to tell...

Vintage Photos of Kids in Hats

All kinds of interesting period/"old timey" things in that photo, not including the possum dinners! At first glance I figured that rifle was a Winchester low wall .22, but I believe it's actually a Stevens Favorite (?).

“WTF’ Hats,” that are hard to believe...

But what a bargain! At least there is some truth in advertising: "This is the only one on Ebay past or present." :D:D

    Favorite 1930's-40's Christmas decoration

The brass ones that spin, driven by candle heat? I remember those! My grandmother had one. One of the few things I wanted from her estate because of the same kind of memory you mention, but sadly we never did find it.

    Hats on TV

Interesting! I saw quite a few episodes of Miami Vice years ago but don't believe I ever saw that one. And Steve Buscemi too, maybe, from Boardwalk Empire?

    Fedora brim width???

What if it's raining at night? Would a larger brim be stupid then, too? Your whole purpose of posting here seems to be to convince us that toy hats are what we really want, just like you singlehandedly convinced the cowboy hat forum that fedoras really are cool as you described in a later post...
