Just received a new Hemp Stratoliner in Navy from DelMonico the other day and I must say I really enjoy it. A navy hat was a little worrying but it’s turned out to be a pretty versatile color. Really want to to try to find a fur felt version in Silverbelly now! -

Stetson Hemp Stratoliner
Just purchased a Hemp Stratoliner in Natural and now waiting for it to ship. Can’t wait as it’s already in the 90’s here in Orlando. I tried the Milan once but it was so oversized it reached over my ears AFTER padding the sweatband, but Delmonico’s said that the hemp shouldn’t have that sizing... -

Any advice as to stubborn liner removal? I’ve attempted to carefully pull the liner out of my brown Fed IV and it is mostly out, however there are two rather stubborn spots where Akubra seems to have done a rather good job with the glue and it’s stuck. -

Thanks for all the replies! Kind of confirmed what I was thinking. The bluegrass is an awesome color but the sand would probably work better as a foundational hat. -

Stretching a hat - advice please....
Thanks for all the advice, it’s very appreciated! The stretcher is in so we’ll see what happens, I don’t need it to really even go up a half size, just relax the fit if that makes sense. Always the danger with factory made hats, the sizing can get a little hit or miss sometimes. -

It’s certainty come in handy with my other hats, they never get too tight-except perhaps when in desperate need of a hair cut- but it is nice to loosen them back up on occasion. I just hope it’ll loosen this new one up a little so it doesn’t shrink too far on me. Though it is new and stiff so... -

Honestly, just wear the heck out of it in rain, snow and heat and it’ll be a perfect fit in no time.
