I saw this BK on ebay while wearing my Victory HH Duke. It took me by surprise and a few minutes to realize it was a BK. Having one to compare with certainly helped me confirm.
It is also a size 44, so I thought it was worth at least a try on.
I have on vintage Capeskin jacket from the...
I believe a forum member initiated this Good Wear Imperial based on the Iconic Sears Hercules jacket from the 1930's.
This one is sized 46. i believe John said he has only made 4 of these. I've owned reproductions from Aero, Johnson Leather, Bill Kelso. I still own the BK edition.
I've been wearing this jacket since it arrived, just feels like an old friend. The tightness in the mid is a reminder to go no further and to back off. It also acts as a back support of sorts! John Chapman is pictured in the Pancho Barnes. You should have kept this John. The Jacket looks...
I had this Video in the "can". No narration. Back and Front.
I prefer Black, but Brown shows up more often.
The Jacket with the colored lining is one I have worn often in warm weather. It is light weight and perfect for cool summer days.
One is marked Horsehide. Probably late 40s early...
Inspired by the recent LW thread and the Beautiful Jacket Cool weather here today. Always talk about Breaking in the heavy leather Lost Worlds Horsehide. I got out my three. The Test is the 4+ as Stewart Calls it. The Suburban must be the 4 and the Roadmaster the 3. The Videos show the...
I followed up on post that took me to Good Wear's sale page. This is what I found; the Original Arcadia/Messenger. Since the Arcadia is my favorite GW jacket I just had to have it.
They are identical as far as I can tell.
The Original is probably a size 40, the New one is a size 42.
I have known David Sheeley for a couple of years. I met him through posting on this forum..at least that is what I remember. I don't know Dave's user name here or think he post much here. We started talking about Vintage Jacket restoration and other topics about leather jackets. He was...
Yes, call me an opportunist. A current Highwayman thread pushed me to list this.
I bought this Jacket around three years ago from a seller in Chicago Illinois. He told me the jacket protected him from a Dog bite! Yes, the teeth marks are pictured. I have shown this jacket in several threads...
No commentary in the Video. Just got the Jacket in the upper left and thought I had several from this era in Brown. One is marked Horsehide the others I assume are Steer.
If you didn't see this sale. check it out.
I bid, quit early because it just wasn't going to fit me. I had no idea it would bring this money, no idea. I thought maybe $650. I have the pics saved. I will post them.
Did someone here buy it?
I just got this in the mail today. Had not thought much about it until I read the BK thread on their One Star Brando jacket. I'm no authority on these styles, but this one looks a lot like the Durable Jacket. It is a size 40 so fit pics will be thin. I may try one. I notice that the belt...
I've owned another All Weather Garment leather jacket and they are built to last. The lining on this one is pretty trashed. The leather is very nice condition. Very supple.
I'm putting new jackets in all the time. The newest will be at the bottom of the thread. Follow the thread and check back often for new exciting offerings.
PM me with any questions. If you are looking for something special let me know.
Thanks for looking.
Terry
Another I got and forgot. Size 40 a bit small for me. Not saying it fits in the Video, just so you can see it on. About as nice as condition as you can find. 1940s? Love that Blanket Lining. This one came from ebay on an offer I made.
Who was Albert Richard? I've owned another of his...
I had only wore this jacket a couple of times before hanging it. I do that. Wow. How much better does it get; Old or New? Isn't this what makers today are recreating? I get this Vintage feeling wearing many of my new Jackets, but none of them smell like this. Pretty simple jacket.
This is a first attempt at using youtube slide show maker. I put all the pics in the mix and didn't do any editing, so it came out way too long. Over 5 minutes.
The Jacket is stunning. As nice in person as it looks in the pictures. Probably a size 36/38, no bigger. No fit pics. I have...
McDonald Leathers Spokane Washington. I've seen other Deerskin MC jackets, but nothing quite like this. Unlike most custom made Deer jacket this one is very heavy, very thick leather. The lining is thick also. I think it is in the 6 pound range. Has the makers label and and owners name in...
