Hello All,
I was wondering if any of you folks knew what kind of suede jacket Josh Bernstein wears on Digging for the Truth? Is it a custom job or an off the shelf model? It looks similar to a Levi's trucker jacket but the pockets are similar to a Carhart Barn Coat. Would just like to know...

Where can one find one of these caps like the one Thomas Kretschmann wore in King Kong as the Captain of the Venture? And not the cheap made ones with the anchor & life rong emblazoned on the front but a good quality cap. Sorry I couldn't find any images to copy here. The best I could find is...
Todays lineup on TCM has several good classic Shakespearian films including 1944's Henry V with Sir Laurence Olivier. This is a take or leave it subject for some. But for those that enjoy Shakespear I think these are a must see. The only one that is missing is Orson Wells 1948 MacBeth...
Did anyone happen to catch the three Road Show pictures last night with Bing, Bob & Dorthey on TCM? They played The Road to Morrocco, The Road to Utopia and the Road to Bali. After thos three it was a Bing solo in A Conneticut Yankey in King Arthurs Court. Quite an enjoyable eving of classic...
Watched this one last night. I completely enjoyed this one. Great story, fantastic visuals and a top drawer director & cast. they even managed to cast Jim Braddocks Granddaughter in this film. I loved how they used the Maple Leaf Gardens as the Madison Square Garden backdrop. Ron Howard as usual...
Did anyone happen to catch this on Sunday? Baron Kurtz, I would be supprised if you didn't. Loved the way this one was put together, and all you had to set the mood was music from a dulcimer. Thoroughly enjoyed it again.
Cheers!

How many of you have enjoyed this film?
It was one of those films that made me love the B-17 Bomber. Since I was a kid I've loved this film. Didn't get the message until I was an adult though. The visuals, the story and the characters were great.
Cheers!

This week TCM has a theme of Makeup in the Moves. Should be showing some interesting films like the Seven Faces of Dr. Lao, Raging Bull & Phantom of the Opera. They will be also showing the life of Lon Chaney Thursday night.

Has anyone seen this film? This is a fictional motion picture about a pianist who lived his whole life on ship. Not many people know about this movie, but if you love music and Rachmoninoff, this is a must-see movie. Even though there is no kiss scene, this movie is extremely romantic just...

I got to know the real VonDutch (Ken Howard) bach when I was a kid before he died in 1992). One heck of a character, a bit of an odd duck, but a real nice and down to earth guy. A regular Joe. All of this marketing...

Hi all!
I've been hunting around for a good pair of brown & white leather Wingtip spectators. I had seen one thread by Zohar showcasing his custom Allen Edmunds "Chestnut" Wingtips, although very nice, I think they may be out of my price range. I checked out the Allen Edmunds site and all...
Hi all! I know it's a little early to ponder on such thoughts, but what are your favorite classic Christmas flicks?
Mine have been A Christmas Story (1983)..
And White Christmas (1954)...
The runners up would be, A Miracle on 34th Street (1947)
And It's a Wonderful Life(1946)...
I'm sure you guys know which jacket I'm talking about in Seabiscuit. The Honey colored number Gary Stevens wore as George Woolf. Is there somone out there that makes that style jacket? I think it would be something classy yet casual for a weekend outing in the fall. If anyone knows where I could...
Hello all!
I have been searching for, quite unsucessfully, a mens shirt pattern from the 1930's or 1940's. Just the basic two pocket type that can be used for dress, work or flannel shirts. I have a good sewing machine at home that I can make these shirts with but no pattern yet. I've tried...
