Same experiences here. I'm wearing the light green 'Artisan' jacket today. Picked up a Shepperton suit as well, got to have the trousers hemmed yet. Some lovely stuff. Most overrated movies?
I adored ET back in 1982 - but then I was seven! Not sure what I'd make of it now. I instinctively want to say I'd hate it because it'll be full of Spielberg's trademark saccharine schmaltz, but I suspect it'd probably be a touch darker than I'd remember (as were a fair few things from back then...- Edward

That would be my feeling. If it earns a reputation as the Logan of the franchise (let's not forget there were a couple of Wolverine solo outings before that which were..... of variable quality....), it could do very well indeed in the longer term. I had much the same feeling coming out of The Dark Knight - great film (though I don't personally rate it being as much all that as it became fashionable to. Call me cynical, but I do think Ledger's untimely death did rather boots its favourable reviews somewhat), but it was a painful 20 minutes...- Edward

That's interesting it worked for them from the pov of coming fresh to the series. I'm going to see it myself next Thursday - going with a friend - day off, matinee screening, early afternoon start (just after noon) - hopefully means a quiet cinema. I love the franchise. I enjoyed the first 'new' one - for me, it felt in keeping with the originals, more of a 'different group of kids get taken in by the cabin' than a remake as such.
