Looking for a simple answer
I am currently waiting with worms on my tongue (baited breath) for an extra fino Cuenca which I ordered 3 weeks ago from Robert. I guess I asked him the same question.
But I would like to ask it again. I'm not looking for a $500 straw hat. What I want is a $100...

And Yes it’s Orange (How about those Lady Vol’s)
My Question is Brim up or down????
The hat is made by Biltmore

Greetings from the Sunny South
Greeting to one and all. I found the Lounge while googling a new Fedora. I have worn Fedoras, on and off, for over 30 years.
Before I joined here, I thought hats were just for wearing. Now I find myself buying hats just for a chance to see how they were made or...

2 1/2 is about min. 2 3/4 is best although, I have a Itialian job at 3" I REALLY LIKE.
Nothing under 2 1/4
However, I think hat size plays into this
62 cm
Attn Douglas
I really like the Saturday hat. What is it?
Since I still cant post pic's yet. I will just have to describe my Sunday Hat. It's a Black Miller Hat with a 2 5/8 brim and a c crown. A little dresser than my week day hats
Thanks Deanglen
This is what I first saw. The Sheriff's hat will lend itself to a center dent with a pinch.
I'm starting to wonder if there was such a hat made by Stetson.
Thanks for the pic.
I’m looking for information on a vintage Stetson Hat and hope someone here can Help.
And before anyone asks, Yes I Googled it & Yes I searched our files.
The hat is the “ROAD RUNNER” in beaver felt with chin strap holes and vent holes on each side . I would love pictures showing the...
I wore one for years back in the late 70's. This was my backpacking hat. It handled rain, snow and anything eles Mother Nature threw at it.
I would ass-u-me that the quality is the same. I paid $25 back then.

Thank for the kind word and advise. I will try to post some links to photos as soon as I upload.

I made a Great find today at the local Flea Market. A Knox Twenty in 90% condition and in a 7 3/4. Its a medium gray with a 2 1/8 brim. I guessing it to be a early 50's. A good dusting and light steam and it looks almost new.
Since this is my 1st Knox, I decided to find out more about the...
