Yesterday, and today, I made some new neckties. Yesterday, I made my Grandfather, and my Father ties for fathers day (my Grandfather's one has the initials, my Father's one has the dots.) Today, I made two neckties.
Yesterday's ones.
Today's ones.
:pray2: Dear God, thank you for helping me get, and play the melodeon, and harmonica. I am extremely grateful for these gifts! Amen. :pray2:

While looking for Stetson Gun Clubs, I found this one on eBay. However, it is size 7 1/4, and I am 7 1/2. However, My 7 1/2 hat seems a tad too big (it's an extremely small space between my head, and the hat.) My head is 23" around. Would 7 1/4 fit? I always cock my hat to an extreme angle, and...
Today, I went to the thrift store, and got these ties. The Pierre Cardin is 59" long. The American Traditions is 58" long. The John Henry is 57" long. The Barrington is 55" long. The White New Haven is 58" long. The J.Press/Real Ancient Madder Burgundy one is 57" long, and the Red J.Press/Real...
I may have asked this question before, but I was wondering, how do you tell how old a tie is without bringing a measuring tape with you? As I have never owned a vintage tie, I do not know how thick they are. I hear that the labels are in different places, but I wonder, do 60s ties have labels in...
Today, I went to the thrift store, and got these two ties. Unfortunately, I doubt any are vintage. The Brooks Brothers is 60" long. The Chatham Ltd. one is 57" long.

I don't know much about hats, but I would assume it's from the late 50s, or the early 60s. I don't actually think that's a trilby. I believe that type of hat is known as a stingy brim fedora. It has a rather fat ribbon, which I could be wrong, but I believe were very popular in the late 50s, and...
I won't exactly call this a new hat, but I just modified it.
Yesterday, I experimented on an old, mangled, Scala panama. It originally was similar to this hat (mine was not that pricey.) However, my one was all mangled, and bent, as if one sat on it. So I decided to experiment on it. I cut...
