Clothes of Asian origin have no appeal to me. Smacks of cheaply made, poor quality clothing sold for extortionately marked-up prices. Like the offerings of most high street fashion outlets of today.
Also neither of us are American prospective customers. We are both located Europe it would seem...
Looking good dude. I envy you.
I've had one of these for many years. 4oz+ HH. It's by far the heaviest, stiffest HH jacket I've ever owned.
As for the main zip I went for the WWII sprung Crown upgrade. It's the other end of the scale to yours & wouldn't look out of place on a piece of luggage...
By sheer coincidence I have long been looking for someone who could copy one of mine in a POW check cloth for me. I too have considered Magnoli but, being in the UK would prefer someone closer.
A leather Harrington, for me, just wouldn't be 'right' but I wish you luck in your quest, although I...
Oh right, that wasn't obvious from the pic. Just wondered as I'd love to show off more boot but have never felt comfortable that I could get away with the legs of my jeans short enough to do it.
After my last post I checked these out on Ironheart's website. Luckily for my bank balance they're...
Damn you just when I thought I had enough pairs to keep me happy you go & dangle these in front of me :)
Absolutely beautiful. Tell me, do you wear your jeans cuffed that short or is this just for the sake of the picture?
Cheers fellas. Here's a label pic. My first Canadian HH
Excuse the non-representative colouring in these pics taken with a phone in poor electric light. I've reshaped the collar to my liking & added HH leather pulls to the main & chest pocket zips
A better proportionally accurate view of...
When the time comes to grow my collection Whites will be the brand I go for next. Pretty much decided on the spec jimmer_5 had his built to in the post in this link

As far as I know Julian made the 1st rendition & Murdock the 2nd. The current version is made in Pennsylvania. If there was a 4th maker I have no idea who it was. Here's links to the 3 I've mentioned:

Right I see where you're coming from now. None of my boots have cushioned footbeds apart from the cheap and cheerful Xelement's. My WESCO's are vintage so pre-date that step in their evolution. My feet aren't used to such cosseting so don't suffer because of the lack of it.
I don't agree with this. Mine are every bit as tough as my WESCO's and able to give comparable support and protection. Not at all like dress boots. They do have a sleeker and more aesthetically pleasing shape though. As I posted earlier a particular feature of them is the super thick (and tough)...
Very nice. I hope you get many years of enjoyment wearing them.
I wear mine hot or cold. I have other kinds of footwear but tend not to wear it nowadays.
Thank you.
That's very true my friend but I have no hope of finding most apparel I buy in a store local to me.
Hi Alex
I'm no expert. I...
