Great photos, thanks for posting.
The 1920s suits are at times more 'modern' looking than the 1930s-1940s.
It is the slimmer trousers and more understated lapels.
I love the last two in particular, the ankle boots, and Hemingway's rumpled casual suit.
I think we all learn a thing or two from...
Good idea to make a list.
I have never heard of Morgan Memphis Belle, do you have a link to their website?
Here are a couple more that I found:
'The history Bunker'...
I am in the same boat. I can't justify a premium price at the moment.
Wested has this approximation of a French cyclist style:

Nicest US flight jacket imho, along with the B2 and the G-1.
Apart from the fact that it's a great jacket, this showcases what a difference proper presentation makes,
i.e in natural light and worn by someone.
Nothing like wearing breeks to accentuate one's hips! ;)
You are right Fastuni! Just noticed the flare. Correction: Those trousers without the flare would be my favourite modern style.

This is my ideal...

Here are those vintage inspired styles by a graduate from my University.
Certainly not high waisted, but baggy and pleated and a completely different approach to the familiar 'sexy/skinny' look.
Hopefully a future trend setter! ;)
I lived in Cyprus most my life so English summers are very mild by comparison... And very pleasant.
So this weather is fine by me, autumn is ok, spring is wonderful,
but winter definitely gives me seasonal affective disorder.
I don't mind the cold, and it's a great feeling to be in a cozy...
I am looking for some reference photos to send off for a custom shirt. I would have edited the previous post but it does not seem to be allowed in this part of the forum.
Thanks for the comments.
Apologies if I did not clarify this:
The ridiculous/dandy comments were in reference to the severe curve of the collar which I am not sure about,
rather than the fabric(which has that rumpled look I love).
I want something a bit 'quirky' but not Cab Calloway, or for...
Need to see one of these 'in the flesh', can't tell if it would look dandyish or just ridiculous.
I want to order some spearpoint shirts to liven up my wardrobe a bit, but need to figure out my boundaries.
