I was wondering, what was the most commonly used hair products in the era? Were heavy pomades the most popular, or light products, such as Brylcreem more popular? Or were products in between the most popular?
I already know to look for length, as all (I could be wrong) vintage ties are shorter than modern ties. But are there any other things, besides length, to tell for sure if a tie is vintage?
