Three.
I have three coming.
And one pair of pants.
I went a little nuts but sometimes you have a few irons in the fire and they all get ebay hits at the same time
A pair of Vanson Comp Sportrider's (non-perfed)
A prestine 1970 Kersey peacoat in 44"
A cool Black & Tan Cafe from US made Co.
And a...
I found this for couch change!
I’m still looking for a USMCo Natel Natel cross zip, but I’ve got a weakness for the unusual, and I dig the black & tan on this coat!
These are seller pics, and it looks a thousand times better worn and in person. The contrast is a lot subtler in natural...
Small FQHH Cross zip, less than 60 bucks with less than 24 hours to go!

Good god! That’s like wearing a steak around your waist!! I think when it’s too thick to fit the tail under the belt loop, it’s going to be too thick for me.
I prefer Texas Ranger style belts, with the thinner strap and buckle stitched to the wider body.
I’ll be keeping an eye out…
I just picked up a track suit (a second hand Vanson, natch) and I need to move some jackets that… let’s just say they shrank…
Oh!!!
That was it! At least that was the info, the different ease measurements!
I could be misremembering the diagrams, but that was the information!
Thank you so much!! I can’t believe it was in a thread the whole time!
I really appreciate the help!
At one point it was on the website, but that’s the right era. It had the different jacket chassis, with the stated size, and then the different eases dependent on the style.
I specifically remember there were line drawn diagrams…
I’m bumping this, maybe someone knows how to use the Wayback machine? Or one of those internet archival projects? It would be awesome to have on the forum.
I like it.
Personally I wouldn’t have used detergent or soap, but that’s me. It seems like you’ve replenished the oils and waxes you pulled out of the leather, and if it’s supple, I don’t see much, if any, harm being done to the longevity.
I did soak a jacket once that came to me...
Yeah, this is it exactly.
I think it looks like a good fit, because mobility looks good, and the wrinkles don’t look like they’re pulling tight horizontally.
Then Monitor has a good point that it looks a size small, because a size up would let the jacket drop over your butt, and you’d lose...
I think it looks great.
The back will look like this on one piece backed jackets because having seams is where you get the contours of a more form fitting back. So while I see what you’re talking about with the back, I’d chalk it up as part of the deal when you’re getting a single piece backed...
I don’t like using detergent, but that’s just me. If lining is stanky I’ve had good luck hosing down the inside with vinegar, letting it sit for maybe an hour or two, and then soaking in the tub. But then, I’ve been lucky in never had to deal with anything to stubborn like smoke or intense B.O...
I picked one up on the Bay, they fit (at least the orange ones, they’re older than the neon yellow) very snug!
But I put longer lacing in, and it’s great. I use it with the cobra so it just needs to cover the chest. As great as the air curtain is in the cobra, I prefer the Avenger Vent, with...
