Hi all,
Wanted your opinions.
If wanting a higher end repro, there are many reasons to order an 'original' makers jacket. Obvious.
However;
What do you think about a 'custom' A-2, ie a Bronco body, with a 15142 collar and rounded pockets.
:eusa_doh:The idea: mainly, to get a preferred...
Hi all,
I have picked up a Willis & geiger WW2 style A-2 in good 'nic' :eusa_clap, but I want to 'make it nice'... ;)
Who would you recommend to replace lining and cuffs?
What is the recommendation for a leather conditioner/ hide food? To soften and 'protect' the jacket?
Is there...

I am looking for info regarding the differences and/ or similarities between these two Aeroleather jacket patterns [huh].
I am very familiar with the 15142 (as most of you know ;-), but am thinking of the 3785 for my next jacket :p .
Ideas comparing fit, arm holes, shape, collar...
Hi guys,
This is my Dads. He asked me what I think he will get for it on Ebay! He recons he bought it in the early '70s. No label. Its suede, with wool inner and collar. Some slight 'marks' and one button missing. What do you recon its worth?
Thanks in advance...
Um, A Cockpit 'Dubow' special edition?

Hi guys,
Not to beat on an already pummeled pony, but I am pretty new to the thread and have done a search for info, but have not found what I am looking for.
I may be in the market for a M442A/ G-1. I truly 'get' the advice on getting a vintage jacket, but I am in South Africa, so not very...

Hi guys,
Was wondering... any of you there owning A-2s with inset sleeves, ie Monarch, Star etc...
Do you find your arm movement, like when driving, on a bike, is more comfortable than a regular A-2 sleeve?
What I am getting at, is that, traditionally, an A-2's sleeve rides up when one...

Authenticity a plus, but to wear everyday is a must. What do you folks recon?
Just wanted to say Hi. Have been following Fedora for a while now, I don't like posting on Forums etc, but am a kindred spirit and have no one here who appreciates old flying jackets ;-(
I became obsessed with flying jackets, particularly the A-2 (of course) years ago.
Have had a number of...
