anybody like this movie? I thought they did a nice job on recreating life back in 1860's Civil War era New York City
the costumes, the dialect, the acting, etc
my favorite character was "Bill the Butcher" this movie was so well made that it kind of made me feel like I traveled back in time...
a lot of the styles these days look like retro 1960's
these jeans remind me of the 1960's , they would look great with some beads and halter top for that retro 60's & 70's look, but you must have a very slim figure too look good in this style

it's a small wrench about 7" in long with a wooden handle
marked:

Im guessing it may be late 1890's or turn of the century?

I recently aquired this nice early WWII model 1917A1 helmet
this is the same helmet they wore during the attack on Pearl Harbor
Dec 7, 1941
also used in the Philippines, Wake Island, etc
the USMC was still using this helmet in early WWII
I just saw the classic 1954 movie "The Long Trailor" starring Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz and it has lots of retro early 1950's scenes
Desi Arnaz wears a nice weathered leather jacket that looks similiar to an A2
it was a very good movie :)
whats a good way to make your new jacket look more vintage?
any tips on how to weather it a little to give it some character? I never liked the look a mint leather, the well worn weathered look like Indiana Jones leather jacket looks nice with some faded LEVI's
