    Does anyone here know what the numbers stamped on a WWII Acme Thunderer whistle mean? A. M. is the British Air Ministry, but I’m not sure if the numbers have any meaning? Thanks in advance.

    Nice jacket! The Nametag is for an “AD2” which is an enlisted man’s rating of an Aviation Machinist Mate, 2nd Class. Very interesting find!

    The flight satin nylon is thicker than the rayon in the G-1. I like both tho. For colder weather I layer under my jackets with a fleece vest or a cashmere/wool sweater.
