IMO that happens when people buy a jacket that is too small. Some people tend to buy leather jackets in a fashion fit, meaning it will be very tight. I had that issue too with some of my jackets. That’s before I learned what sizing works best for me etc. In all the pictures you linked with that...
I pulled the trigger on the RMC new fit and it’s the best purchase I have ever made. I went through quite a few leather jackets, because I originally thought the RMC J-24 was too expensive.
I own a size 40 at 5’11 and 175 lbs with 39.5 inch chest.
This is how it fits:
I was considering if I could fit a size 38, but opted for size 40 since I wanted to actually be wearing something underneath the jacket other than a t-shirt. A jacket with a fur collar that I could only wear with a tee didn’t make much sense in my head.
I think 38 did look a little big on you...
That doesn’t look on par with any RMC I have seen and definitely not when I compare it to my own, but it does look better then an Aero. What a cool jacket!
I asked for that tag as soon as I saw it!
I agree. I didn’t like that at all either. Don’t know why he chose that over some of the other ones. His previous label was better.
It’s definitely cooler and better suited for vintages styles of jackets that is for sure! I really like it!
