this brand is local to me here in Glasgow - they are a bit late to the N1 game, but its a great looking jacket all the same. Mid range price wise, but manufactured in Europe.

I had a freewheelers deck jacket at one point, an earlier version with a wool collar. It was labelled as a size 40, but it was far too small for me, I would say it was more like a 36. Nice jacket but I had to move it on.
Quilted sleeves, as opposed to alpaca are more comfortable. D pockets are again more practical and better placed. And fit seems better too. And heavy weight 2 way zipper is great.
my hot take is that of all the garments one could chose to wear the leather jacket is one of the hardest to pull off - and the evidence is here on this outwear thread - if it was easy there wouldn't be endless threads about sizing and fit. Nor would there be endless classifieds for barely worn...
