Langemark German WW1 cemetery, Yeper Sector, Belgium. During Germany's invasion of France in WWII through Beligium, Adolf Hitler paid a visit to this cemetery and walked through this gate to pay homage to his comrades who died in the Yeper Sector.
Photo of entrance to the Trench of Death on the Yser Canal, so coined by the Belgium army due to the tremendous loss of life. The only remaining and preserved restored trench system in the Yeper sector.
