Well, given the 19" shoulders...pretty wide for a women's jacket. You'd need some high-waisted pants, for sure, but according to the LW page on this jacket, this design goes back to 1942 and an Army Air Force flyer. High-waisted britches looked pretty manly on those guys...
For anyone interested, I just got clarification from the seller on measurements. Shoulder measurement different from listing—at present, anyway.
Pit to pit 20.5"
Shoulders (at top of shoulder/arm seams) 17.5"
Thanks, Claybertrand, for being the first to jump in to try to help. I'd considered the Lenzips, too. And thanks for the link; good to know they're still around.
Thanks for that! Just did a quick Google search and found one single solitary photo of an Ideal ZZ. I knew Excelled used Ideals back in the day, but I'd never seen the ZZ before. Never registered in my brain, anyway. I couldn't make out the design. (Two 7s? Two Ls? A super fancy Z?) Now...
$50 USA-made Excelled with Offer. Nice shape, though maybe some loose stitching over the right side zip?
I don't know that zipper pull. Can somebody identify and/or date it?

I'd have bought this already if it weren't way too small for me. "Only" a Gap, but for what it's worth, I have a few Gap jackets because the leather on all of them punch well above their weight (on older ones, at least—I don't have any made after 2000.) Also, I've never seen one like this...
Missing a couple of those lovely buttons. Tagged size 50, but listed measurements make it more like a 46, I think.
