The President's tie did not work for me. It should have been black. White was just... odd, like a short cut to formality somehow, but without the tails. It was jarring, but not awful. He is tall and confident enough to pull it off, but just barely.
It may have been an effort to coordinate...
It's seen as pretentious and almost an article of costume, as if one is playing the part of a businessman, at least with the younger generation. I disagree entirely with these sentiments, but when I carried one, I heard negative comments all of the time. It seems the rip-stop nylon messenger bag...
With all the stuff in everyone's pockets, I want to merge this with the "Man Purse" thread! ;) lol
Personally, I try to keep nothing in my pants pockets because I just don't like the feeling of having objects there. This is why I almost always wear some sort of jacket. So, for me, it's...
It may all go down to those of us who must carry things and those of us who do not. Whichever file I am working on, must be with me at all times during the work day. Also, I always have a journal and a hardback with me, because I am both an avid journal keeper and reader. If I were to put all of...

What an icon of dignity and sophistication.
Great actor, great work, great voice, he will be missed.
Paddy, My Dear Paddy, the object does not make the man; the man makes the object. ;)
I carry a bag. It holds all my essentials, closing packages, files, all the tools of capitalism. I've never once been questioned on it, nor would I expect to; nearly everyone else in my profession carries one...

Sadly, I cannot access YouTube from work, but it's out there, and maybe I'll post it later.
In any case, there is a group of musicians with quite the crowd in the...
Sorry, since this neither pertains to the Lounge or anything vintage related, I've closed it, but I'll leave it up in case anyone would like to answer the questions through PM. Thanks for your understanding.
I agree with this sentiment entirely.:eusa_clap
Facebook for me is reserved for people I've actually met and consider to be friends. On MySpace, I'll add pretty much anyone, but Facebook is much more personal and much more tied into my actual social life. :)
