So true. Ive had my goatskin Langlitz Columbia since 1987 and its the best riding jacket I've ever owned. I prefer the offset zipper for colder riding conditions. My grain is just starting to look worn in after many years of heavy use.
I love Langlitz. Their little shop is just up the street from me. Maybe Ill stop in sometime and take some pix and post 'em here if anyone is interested.
Never mind, I found out it's from the early 80s, if anyone is interested. The leather is THICK and stiff, Im thinking horsehide possibly? Im a bit obsessive about this kind of stuff:)
