    Aero Oil Pull Specifications

Good to know. How porous did it seem to you compared to the other samples? Did water tend to soak into it leaving a dark patch, or run off?

    Aero Oil Pull Specifications

@navetsea I would say that a leather showing age is not the same as leather being damaged. When I say resilient I don't mean that it stays looking pristine, rather that the leather is resistant to undesirable, irreversible changes to the aesthetic or integrity of the material. You're right...

    Aero Oil Pull Specifications

@Harris HTM Don't worry mate, I'll be sure to report my findings. I look forward to seeing your ideas come to fruition. They have some nice oil pull jackets at Kentaurus by the way. I wish I'd paid more attention to them while I was there, but I wasn't interested in it at the time. I did have a...

    Aero Oil Pull Specifications

I think I´ve seen photos of their old heavy oil pull and it did look pretty amazing. That was made by Horween I think, so maybe they stopped making it, which would be a shame. @Fanch I can't argue with that, but like I said, just thought I'd ask in case anyone already knows.

    Aero Oil Pull Specifications

Greetings Loungers, Does anyone know the thickness/weight of Aero's oil pull horsehide and if it is veg tanned? Better yet, does anyone know which UK tannery it comes from? I understand that this is something Aero might not want to disclose, which is fine of course, but I figured there's no...

    Help choosing an aero, please.

I'm not sure what the hold up is or what postal service the samples were sent with. Hopefully they will turn up eventually, but I've had other packages from the UK not turn up at all before. Not too fussed to be honest since I reckon I'd make the same choice. Cheers Harris, I'm all set to play...

    Help choosing an aero, please.

That's pretty much what I'd gathered about it, but I'm glad to hear it from you. My samples never arrived, which is apparently a big problem for Aero at the moment (samples going missing in the post, that is). You're right about CXL and I think most would agree. For me it was a toss up between...

    The New Aero Blizzard

I like it from the outside, though it's not pretty it is impressive. Definitely a good alternative to the Barnstormer as said already. However, I don't get the point of a built in waistcoat and I don't think that one looks nice, but that's partly due to the colour(s). It's just an extra layer...

Good to hear! Have you experience with it? I only decided to go with it today lol.

    Help choosing an aero, please.

Sorry gents, I seem to have stopped receiving notifications at some point on this thread, didn't mean to ignore anyone. @Edgar Laurel, @Insomnia, @JacketAddict, thanks for your input. As predicted, I've ended up going for something different. Just pulled the trigger on a Maxwell, Oil Pull...

Anyone had an Aero CXL Steer Shrink?

Good to know, cheers. The bootlegger looks sharp without a breast pocket. Sorry to hear of your wrecked jacket.

Anyone had an Aero CXL Steer Shrink?

Haha 'flatulent posts'. I'm glad we can't post our farts here, yet. Fair point Dan. 'Shrink' sounds like what happens to a wool jumper in the wash, which is not what we're talking about.

Anyone had an Aero CXL Steer Shrink?

@ton312 Thanks for providing an answer to the original question! Also, in your experience is it true that using steer rather than horse effectively reduces the jacket by ~1/2 a size due to the thickness? That seems like a lot to me. Guess it also depends on the hide. It makes sense that a...
