The Flat Head vs The Real McCoy's: which jacket to choose?

I also like the zipped side pockets (hand warmers) of the Mulholland.

The Flat Head vs The Real McCoy's: which jacket to choose?

ps The Mulholland has a better underarm design for functional reach and movement. The adjustable buckles sit higher on the Nelson. Just a few small preferences to consider.

The Flat Head vs The Real McCoy's: which jacket to choose?

I have the Mulholland- Love it. If I were to get a Real McCoy's it would be the Nelson for sure. Both are top quality. But I do agree that the hookless zipper sucks! Looks nice but I am not a fan. Originally I did not like the diagonal stitches to the pockets of the Mulholland, but, like a few...

The Flat Head vs The Real McCoy's: which jacket to choose?

Across the board each maker has styles that fit certain body types. I was looking at Real McCoy's and found only one style that had the dimensions that fit me. My beloved Freewheelers Mulholland, which fits perfectly, was a 2019 release. The new model of Mulholland recently released would not...

    Fine Creek Virginia Beach

Terry, 44 would be too tight fitting. And you are correct, the seller withdrew and is wearing the jacket, and loving it! Self Edge has two more in stock, size 46.

What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Fine Creek. Amazing leather, breaks in so very well. Arrived new and stiff. Now it has settled down and has begun molding to my body.

    Fine Creek Richmond size 46

I did not receive many inquiries after posting and subsequently dropping the price. I decided to wear this amazing jacket indoors. I gave it a chance and wouldn't you know it, this Fine Creek began to fit extremely well. I love it. This leather molds very well and quickly. No longer for...

    Your opinon on Simmons Bilt?

You and Ton321 and your damn monster forearms!! LOL May JMax enjoy a long life with that beautiful shinki. The closest shinki to that SB British Cafe Racer has actually been my Freewheelers Mulholland. Not exact but close.

    Freewheelers leather jackets

It would seem that the 2019 batch was the last edition with longer sleeves. My slightly under 26 inches is the straight measurement. This all speaks to the universal challenge of getting Off The Rack and whether or not it will fit.

    Freewheelers leather jackets

I believe my model year was 2019- last of that batch in my size. Sleeves measure very slightly under 26 inches on the size 44.

An amazing jacket I regret selling. The Shinki is wonderfully grainy. The best fitting OTR jacket I ever purchased.
