Help: breakage in vintage Conmar zip
Today when I was trying to zip up my 50s Grais jacket the main zipper began to break at the beginning, the solid part at the extremity is detaching from the fabric (or better the fabric is fraying). I know it's nearly impossible but anyone knows a way to fix it? A glue? Classic superglue...- Raul

I just discovered this brand and I am thinking to buy a pair, I suppose the first original ones are the "brown" dead grass color, is it correct? Anyone knows when the navy color came out? In converse I wear a 8.5 (42 EU) would I need a 9 here? Thank you- Raul

Just bought a 1963 Irvin Foster G-1 jacket
Well, I forgot one thing, before replacing those parts I put it into the washer machine, cold water and a bit of mild detergent, so I have the confirmation that leather jackets can be washed without any big risk. Leather didn't suffer and the mouton collar came out great and clean.- Raul
