At the end I bought the 8.5D (E was unavailable at ironheart.uk) and they fits me OK, my foot is not wide so they aren't too tight, and after a few hours of wearing they already begin to break in, the only problem is to put them on and out, a real pain in the... but I can live with it as the...
Today when I was trying to zip up my 50s Grais jacket the main zipper began to break at the beginning, the solid part at the extremity is detaching from the fabric (or better the fabric is fraying). I know it's nearly impossible but anyone knows a way to fix it? A glue? Classic superglue...
I just discovered this brand and I am thinking to buy a pair, I suppose the first original ones are the "brown" dead grass color, is it correct? Anyone knows when the navy color came out? In converse I wear a 8.5 (42 EU) would I need a 9 here?
Thank you

Two weeks ago I bought a nice 50s Grais horsehide (pony) wit a great patina, but it had the lining in bad shape, sleeves lining destroyed and body lining rather dirty, with a previous patch at the bottom and a big tear/hole near the collar, the pockets lining were in bad shape too:

In the meantime I found this one, I don't know if it fits because I don't have the jacket in my hands to measure it now, but the seller charges an outrageous $25 for shipping to Italy (for an item that I think could be shipped with $2-3 in a simple letter envelope) that added to the $17.50 for...
I just bought a nice 1950s jacket that has Conmar brass zippers but one of the pocket zippers is missing its pull (chain with diamond). Anyone has a spare one or know where I can find it? Thanks

As I already have two pairs of the Lee 101z japan (about 10 years old) I recently bought a pair of the new 101Riders (europen premium series) and posted about them here: https://www.thefedoralounge.com/threads/what-jeans-are-you-wearing-today.99747/page-19#post-2678659

- Pelikan 140 (New Old Stock)
Today I wear my just bought Lee 101 Rider (premium european series) they have a slim cut, the website says based on a vintage block from the 60s. The denim is a sanforized 13 3/4 left hand japanese twill (lot #49) that is dyed with 13 dips of indigo, and has a bleu line selvage. It's...
Well, I forgot one thing, before replacing those parts I put it into the washer machine, cold water and a bit of mild detergent, so I have the confirmation that leather jackets can be washed without any big risk. Leather didn't suffer and the mouton collar came out great and clean.
