I Currently have everything in place to make B-2's First prototype; Also copying the Willis & Geiger pattern of the AN-J-3 copied from my original. Luftwaffe double breasted "Marseilles" Grizzly: Also thinking about adding a M-422a to the list.- Steve S.

Zips are vintage , NOS brass Talons. May end up changing the side buckles out for brass to match. Had that part finished before I decided to use the brass zips...- Steve S.

Yes, I made this. Have made jackets for years, but really gotton serious about it in the last year. Hide is 2.5 oz steerhide & really soft and comfortable!- Steve S.

Finally got around to taking some halfway decent photos of this one I recently finished. It is based on the pattern from a postwar Sears Hercules jacket that has always been a very comfortable, functional jacket. This is the pattern I use frequently & change up the options & add pockets...- Steve S.

Ralph Edwards 7823C G-1 size 38
this has to be one of the Nicest G-1's I've had. It doesn't look like it was ever worn! One of the cuffs did have a tear in it, so replaced both cuffs, but everything else is original. It's a size 38, can provide more pics/ actual measurements if needed. Would be hard to upgrade this one...- Steve S.

Yes, depending on the manufacturer being copied, the back is 5-7 seperate pieces vs 1 on the A-2. Then there is the inside pocket, underarm gussets etc. Not sure if I would have ever figured out the AN-J-3 I make without having the original apart for restoration & building the first model...- Steve S.

Diamond Clothing Buco J100 review.
Couple comments here from someone who does make jackets. First, STUNNING hide! Grain & color are excellent. those pocket & sleeve zips are very difficult to match up the way things are constructed. you can sew 10 & may get 2-3 that will match up. you have leather sewn to cloth, then folded over...- Steve S.

distressing leather jacket
I would even start finer & work up to the 400 grit if needed. I recently replaced a couple panels in a 55j14 G-1 & started out with 2000 grit. the finer the paper, the less chance of leaving visible sanding scratches on the hide.- Steve S.
